Luster: Wensleydale wool is known for its sheen and brilliance, with a fine luster and pearlescent quality.
Color: Wensleydale wool is primarily white, but can also be black or gray.
Crimp: Wensleydale wool has a wavy crimp pattern that makes felting easier than many longwools.
Dyeing: Wensleydale wool takes dye well.
